Ross Semler
Ross is the part-time campus minister at Shepherd University. An alumnus of Shepherd University’s music program, Ross is a Christian songwriter, performer, worship leader and speaker. Seeking God all through college, Ross found his way home to the Church and was confirmed on his 23rd birthday, April 19, 2014. He spends most of his time as campus minister out on Shepherd’s campus, meeting new people where they are and praying that God gives him the open door to talk about our transformative Catholic faith and ministry! Fr. Escalante
Fr. Escalante is our Chaplain. Ordained to the Priesthood in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, Father is also the associate pastor for St. James the Greater parish is Charlestown, WV. He is our celebrant for Sunday Mass, as well as our daily Mass on Mondays throughout the semester. His office hours are Mondays from 11am-3pm, he is available for Confession, Spiritual Direction and more. Father is also available to students on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at St. James parish by appointment 304-725-5558.
